On 20th February, City of Liverpool Conservative Future is hosting a discussion about the future of Conservative foreign policy after the next election. Speakers currently include Jacqueline Foster, Tory MEP for the North-West; Matthew Parris, former Tory MP and a leading columnist for The Times; and Matthew Cavanagh, a former defence advisor to the Brown government. The topics will range from Europe and the Middle East to broader questions about whether there is a truly Conservative approach to foreign policy.
The event is open to anyone, but CF members will receive preferential treatment when it comes to seating. It will be in Lecture Theatre 6 in the Rendall Building on the University of Liverpool campus.
